Apartment Renovation- Pagrati, Athens

This project involves the renovation of a typical Athenian apartment built in the mid ‘60s. The aim was to preserve the main characteristics of the apartment’s identity (such as the terrazzo flooring and the marble sink), while adapting it to the modern needs of city living.

 

The access to the kitchen was modified, providing a connection with the living room and a smooth transition from the living and dining zone into the relaxing and sleeping zone. This alteration also enabled the creation of a much needed storage space.

 

The window between the kitchen and the entrance room, is made of iron and frosted glass, allowing additional daylight to enter the space.
