The purpose of this project was to create an open home office in an apartment's living room, to accomodate the family's work space.

The new furniture integrates both a bookcase and a desk. An additional linear bench was designed to serve as a sitting area as well as to provide an exposed compartment for the firewood. The proposed materials (smooth and embossed heartwood walnut veneer and light grey lacquer) are in accordance to the existing furnishings of the family's living room, in which warm wood and earthy colours dominate.
